PHARMACOKINETIC:

Peppermint essential oil, cinnamon essential oil, camphor and menthol are well absorbed when applied topically, and create a local effect. The dermal absorption of cajuput essential oil are not known but clove essential oil absorbed poorly

PHARMACODYNAMIC:

Menthol, camphor and mint essential oil have mild analgesic and rubefacient properties

Cajuput essential oil is a mild irritant and be used in treatment of rheumatism

Clove essential oil is rubefacient and mild analgesic, antimicrobial

Cinnamon essential oil has strong antimicrobial, antifungal

INDICATIONS:

Cold and flu, headache, runny nose, nausea, colic, motion sickness, body aches, mosquitoes bites and other insects stings

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

For headache, vertigo, cold and flu, motion sickness: rub balm on the temples, nape, nostrils, etc.

Body aches: rub balm on the aching positions, slightly massage

For mosquitoes bites and other insects stings: rub balm on the affected parts of skin.

Steam exhalation: add a little bit of balm to a glass of boiling water and inhale for treating cold and flu.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Children under 30 months of age, or has history of epileptic seizures

Patients with asthma or other respiratory diseases may relapse when patient is allergic

Do not apply to the eyes and open wounds.

Patient with hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the medicine

PREGNANT WOMEN AND LACTATING WOMEN:

Pregnant women do not rub balm on nostril, do not use steam exhalation

Lactating women do not rub balm on chest before breastfeeding.

UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS

May lead to hypersensitivity reactions when using drug, including dermatitis

Inform the physician immediately if any undesirable effect occurs while using the medicine

OVERDOSE AND TREATMENT OF OVERDOSE

Over dosage may result in dermal irritation

Incidentally swallow cause/nausea, diarrhea. Overdose may lead to acute poisoning with symptoms: nausea, colic, headache, dizziness, convulsion respiratory failure, lethargic.

Patients with serious gastrointestinal and nervous system's problems need to diagnose and treatment the symptoms.
